1 Rue Bonaparte
-interior design & architecture-
A refurbishment project that was approached in a wider context taking into account the extended site. The context played a crucial part, as the apartment is part of a prestigious parisian area with a strong artistic character.
Project done in collaboration with Marie Daniel, GRAFTON & Various Collaborators.

1 Rue Bonaparte is a high end residential project in the heart of Paris, France, opposite the Louvre Museum. I was given full creative control of the architectural representation of the project, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the project, and discover the French history that is ingrained in the craftsmanship of each room.
The apartment is an exceptional example of heritage refurbishment, as the designer and main architect took a very respectful approach to the building’s historically rich and diverse past, which included working with 300 year old wood and masonry.
The living room depicted in the first exploded axonometric view above, offers an extraordinary view of the Louvre, and alongside the monumental Noe-Renaissance fireplace, creates an enchanting 19th century look and feel for the owner.
I enjoyed working on this project, as I was able to learn more about historical buildings, interior design, and ornamental and decorative works, and the challenges that can arise from working on a project like this.
